Born in the Philippines. Learned how to draw at the age of 4-5 yrs old by copying drawings my father did for me. Learned how to paint in my early teens watching an uncle paint with oil. Moved to the US at age 16 and after finishing HS in San Diego, CA, I joined the US Navy to earn the GI Bill. What was a 4 year enlistment plan turned into a 21-year military career. During my time in the Navy, I lost my passion for art. In 2012, the Navy transferred me to San Francisco, CA, to finish up my career. 3 months after being there, I quickly found my way back to art and decided that I would use my GI Bill to go to Art school when I retire from the military. In January of 2014, needing a fresh start, I moved to Las Vegas to give it a try. A year and a half later, I\'m still in Las Vegas, going to Art school, and doing what I\'ve always wanted to do.
