San Diego, CA
I am 27 years old, and am constantly growing and changing. My life is completely different from a year and a half ago, and I think that's pretty cool. I'm a San Diego native who took off for the mid-west one day in search of the proverbial "something". That move landed me a job which gave me the opportunity to travel all over the U.S. 7 years later, I found that "something" in the form of a "someone". In Washington D.C. Thankfully he wanted to be on the west coast because after all that traveling... San Diego has always been home and I was dieing to get back here. Other than photography which I not only do for a passion, but a living, I am also in school for web design, and I day dream about working for Google. =) A girl can dream!
People inspire me. I have a fascination with the human form, and am always trying to capture it in it's purest essence. I love the lines the body creates, the peaks and valleys, and the texture of skin and hair. I would not classify myself as a nature photographer, but I do draw inspiration from it as so much of our bodies reflect elements of nature.
It gives artists like myself a venue to show their art. I can't display my nudes in a coffee shop or local restaurant. That isn't the place for them. But I know there is one out there, and there is a market for what I do. RAW provides a venue for my kind of art.
My fiance. I have never found a person so right for me before that it's scary. I have been living in limbo for about 2 years now, and the only constant has been him. We're getting married next year, and I have never been more excited! Whenever I have an idea, he listens, is so excited, and helps out where ever he can. That kind of support and love is unmatched anywhere else and will not be taken for granted.
