Performing Art – Columbus
Miriam King is a dancer, choreographer, and researcher. When she's not teaching a Dance for Parkinson's class, or working on research projects combining dance and neuroscience, you can find her taking dance classes, hot yoga, and traveling. Miriam grew up in Wooster, OH, and moved to Columbus after graduating from Hampshire College in 2015. She has been a dancer her whole life and loves to share dance with others, whether it be through her research in collaboration with OSU or her performances as a contemporary movement artist.
Elijah Banks is a singer-songwriter and music enthusiast. He’s best known for album Point Of View, released early 2016. Daniel Elijah Lynch, also known as Elijah Banks was born in Fulda, Germany, on August 14, 1990. He grew up in Paterson, New Jersey, but later moved to Columbus, Ohio in his teenage years to be closer to family. Elijah banks represents a broad spectrum of hip-hop culture. Since a young age, he’s been intertwined in multiple genres; giving him a unique sound and feel.
