Visual Art – Houston
I am a mother, a wife, an educator, and an artist. And so much more. My family is my center. There is nothing I wouldn't do for my son or my husband - they are my foundation. I'm also a Middle School teacher, crazy I know but I love teaching my 6th and 7th graders about the wonders of the world.
And I'm an artist. In all that I do, whether it be custom pieces for clients, or something that my mind has come up with, I put my heart and soul into every single creation through painting, ink, pencil, and when I get the chance printmaking.
I have lived in Houston for close to 3 years now. I'm a native Georgian, though I was born in country side of Ohio. I love to travel to new places, and old ones. I'm an adrenaline junkie at heart, but I have no problem just being at home with my family, playing with my son. I love water, it doesn't matter where it is - lake, river, ocean, or pool, if I can be on the water, or swimming in it sign me up.
