I use painting like a poet uses words. I use it to convey feelings, thoughts, emotions and beliefs and always have a purpose for each of my paintings. Though I have my own story and reason for each piece, I still want the paintings to speak for themselves and touch the viewers in their own way. I use symbolism to convey a message or story which may or may not be caught by the viewer; either way is okay.
My goal is to bring emotion into paintings and have the viewers take a step back and think for a while. My paintings aren't for everyone, but those who it is for, I hope it makes a solid impression.
