Photography – St. Louis

I have always been drawn to different expressions of thought and ideas. Whether in architecture, writing,or photography, the creation of an idea and the exploration and basis for its need has always drawn my interest. I try and capture a collections of details to comprise the overall images, one detail never more or less important than the others, but all necessary to explain and define the image. I like to try and evoke a common and shared experience that represents an understanding of relative objects and the ideas they represent. Its easy to take pictures of pretty sunsets, cars or people, but to convey an emotional attachment of an idea through a one shot image is the elusive goal I try and represent. Advertising sells better, photography sells the possibility of different. Perception is always relative to the observer, but the ideas that can be represented in one image are unlimited, and are free.
