Professor John is a bass player and a producer, and the music he creates spans across many genres. As a bass player, John is very influenced by funk and jazz and many of his influences include Marcus Miller, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, Stevie Wonder, Steve Bailey, Prince, Larry Graham and countless others.
