Rachel is an expert in her craft and displays the perfect blend of precision and artistry. She is influenced by diversity, color, texture, and culture. Rachel has a highly trained eye when it comes to color and precision hair cutting and has the ability to cut by feel according to the unique texture of each client's hair. She is very skilled at texturizing to create movement and body when needed. Rachel looks at cutting hair as a sculpture and sculpts the clients hair around their face shape, bone structure, neck, and body type. A deep understanding of color theory and the color lines she uses helps her be able to execute difficult corrective color transformations.
Rachel has served as the head of education and is the expert on the color line at Strut Salon where she is currently based in Portland, Oregon and also works on location for weddings, fashion shows, photo shoots, etc. She studied at Gene Juarez Academy in Seattle, WA and gained a loyal clientele that she still travels to service regularly.
