This panel is made up of creative celebrities and well-known industry bigwigs.

Before Ronnie Escalante was a contestant on NBC's Fashion Star, he attended fashion design school in San Francisco where his senior-year collection won him a prestigious internship at Chado Ralph Rucci and Zac Posen in New York City. He hasn't looked back since.

He envisions his clothing line growing into a lifestyle brand complete with apparel, accessories, shoes and bags. Keeping his chic and confident female consumers in mind, Escalante wants to keep the price point of his collection affordable. 


 
Nic Harcourt was, most recently, the Music Director for Santa Monica, California-based radio station KCRW, where he hosted well-known program Morning Becomes Eclectic. Before joining KCRW, Harcourt worked for eight years as a news director and music director at radio station WDST in Woodstock, New York. Artists including Dido and Travis have credited Harcourt for recognizing them early in their career. Harcourt was also credited with helping to launch Coldplay's career as well as those of Norah Jones, Sigur Ros, and David Gray. He has been described by music writer Mark Weingarten as "the most influential DJ in America."

He has also worked as music consultant/supervisor for several television shows and movies, including: Gone Baby Gone, Love Monkey, The Dukes of Hazzard, Life As We Know It, Igby Goes Down. Harcourt founded his own company, SamLuna Media Inc and a new show on KCSN called Connections with Nic Harcourt. Harcourt also became Music Supervisor in residence for MTV in March 2011. Harcourt has also served as Editor at Large: Music and Culture for LA: The Los Angeles Times Magazine (2009-10)
 
Reiko Kondo arrived in L.A. from Japan two decades ago to study English, but fell into hosting art shows in her downtown loft and a couple years later she started Day-O, her own production company creating music videos and TV commercials for Japan. Reiko met Mario Hernandez, professionally known as From Bubblegum to Sky while looking for bands interested in a free music video. By chance Mario was looking for a new label. Reiko fell in love with his music and eenie meenie records was born.Reiko has a goal with eenie meenie, says Reiko, “Most people love bad music. But there are still lots of amazing artists on this planet. I just want to share them with others.”

eenie meenie artists have regularly charted on CMJ and have received adds and been placed in rotation on AAA and commercial radio stations, such as KROQ, KCRW, KEXP in Seattle and Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles. Artists on Eenie Meenie have been featured in high profile publications such as Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Maxim, NME, Billboard, Nylon, Jane, Los Angeles Times, Alternative Press, and have been interviewed by BBC and NPR. Anny Colvin is Creative Manager for the Film and TV department of Position Music, an independent company that primarily focuses on Music Publishing and Artist/Label Representation for Film/TV licensing, developing, supporting and partnering with great artists and producers. Before working with Position Music, Anny was Marketing and Creative Coordinator at EMI Music.


 
Brian Udovich is an award winning feature film producer residing in Los Angeles, California. His first feature-film ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE (Amber Heard, Anson Mount) debuted at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival where it was sold to The Weinstein Company. His second film THE WACKNESS (Ben Kingsley, Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby) debuted at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and was the winner of the festival’s Audience Award. A NECESSARY DEATH was the winner of the 2009 AFI FEST Audience Award for best dramatic feature film.

He is a co-founder of a film development and production company ROUGH & TUMBLE FILMS and co-founder and programmer of the weekly genre screening series REEL GRIT SUNDAYS.
 
Catherine Dent received widespread recognition for her role as the street-smart officer "Danny Sofer" on the award winning FX series,THE SHIELD. Dent has also appeared in memorable supporting roles in such features as Auto Focus and 21 Grams. The Baton Rouge native received her BFA from the North Carolina School of the Arts and made her feature film debut along side screen legend Paul Newman in the 1994 drama Nobody's Fool. She co-starred opposite Jim Carrey and Ashley Judd in The Majestic and Someone Like You and has worked on both Broadway and regional theater.

An increasingly familiar face to television with numerous guest roles on popular TV shows such as NCIS, The Closer, Law & Order, and The Sopranos -- Dent was seen most recently recurring on The Mentalist and Touch with Kiefer Sutherland and will appear with Timothy Hutton this fall in Leverage. She is currently completing her film, SILK, which she directed, wrote and produced for the prestigious AFI's Directing Workshop for Women.
 
Chris Schwartz has been working full-time in the film industry since graduating high school. Schwartz currently serves as the Manager of the AFI Conservatory and National Workshops and has worked with AFI since 2000.  The AFI Conservatory was recently named the number one film school in the world by The Hollywood Reporter. Under National Workshops, Schwartz helps run the AFI Directing Workshop for Women - a unique, tuition-free program that trains women directors, and works at narrowing the gap between the number of working male and female directors in the film and television industry.  Before coming to AFI, Schwartz worked with producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall during the production of such films as CONGO, TWISTER, SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS and THE SIXTH SENSE, to name a few.

Schwartz is also an active writer-director, whether doing work-for-hire sports and industrial videos, or doing webisodes as one-half of the vaudevillian-with-a-twist-of-dirty comedy duo Schwartzy and Pagana.

Charlie Price is one of the most recognizable faces in the professional hair show scene. He has appeared on stages, seen photo work published and represented beauty manufacturers around the globe. Price has been recognized by the industry with awards and nominations over 25 times and worked as lead hairstylist for fashion designers such as Jason Wu, Jeremy Scott, Matthew Williamson, Peter Son, Charlotte Ronson, Catherine Malandrino and Imitation of Christ at NY fashion week.

He currently is International Creative Consultant for Scruples Haircare. Charlie also made a memorable appearance on Bravo's Shear Genius 2 which aired in over 22 countries.
 
With over 20 years of experience in the professional salon industry, Mia brings invaluable knowledge to the platform for enthusiastic, energetic and mesmerizing presentations. As Scruples’ Co-President and Creative Director overseeing imagery, education and product development, Mia’s capacity for educating exceeds every expectation. As a licensed cosmetologist, her vast knowledge and expertise in haircolor shine through at photo shoots and platform productions all over the world.


 
For over a decade, MAXI has done makeup and hair for the entertainment business. His past clients include Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Eminem and countless others. Maxi is best known in the makeup community for his appearance in the Lifetime reality show BLUSH and has been in many others since. Originally from Honolulu, Nolan Robert is a celebrity makeup artist and winner of Lifetime's Blush Season one. He has been featured in many magazines and shoots, and has worked with a myriad of celebrity clients. Nolan Robert recently launched his own makeup line.
 
Jen Zide‐Essex has been a make‐up artist for film and television for over 20 years. In that time, she has taken care of celebs old and new, enhanced their beauty and created characters. She also loves teaching and has been an educator at 2 Los Angeles based make‐up schools.

As a member of Local 706, Jen continues to work on great films, shows and shoots. She is excited to see all the new talent for RAWards .


 
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Daron Moore grew up around the entertainment industry. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2008 with a degree in Mass Communications and Spanish, Daron went on to work for KABC Radio Los Angeles where she produced Dodger Talk. In the summer of 2009, Daron was asked to be a Producer and Head of Marketing for the world famous Laugh Factory comedy club. Daron created and still produces the Laugh Bowl, Southern California’s largest collegiate comedy competition in which two rival schools are pitted against each other in a head to head competition for the title of the campus with the best sense of humor.

Additionally, she has produced Breakfast with the Beatles, a live radio show broadcast from the famous Laugh Factory stage. She produces Lowie at the Laugh Factory, a radio show that features Laugh Factory comedians, interviews, and humor segments. She also produces the once-a-month Fresh Faces show, assisted in the production of Supreme Court of Comedy for DirecTV, and multiple showcases for MTV. Daron continues to produce and do marketing for the club, always searching for the next big thing and consistently finding new ways to expand their success.
 
Donald Byrd became Artistic Director of Spectrum Dance Theater in Seattle in December 2002. Prior to this, Mr. Byrd was the Artistic Director of DONALD BYRD/THE GROUP, a critically acclaimed and highly regarded contemporary dance company based in New York that toured extensively, both nationally and internationally. Founded in Los Angeles in 1978, the company was based there until Mr. Byrd’s move to New York City in 1983, where it continued to operate until its closure in June 2002.

Prior to the company’s inception, Mr. Byrd studied at Tufts and Yale Universities, The Cambridge School of Ballet, the London School of Contemporary Dance, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, and with Mia Slavenska. He danced with Twyla Tharp, Karole Armitage, and Gus Solomons Jr. among others. Since 1976, Donald Byrd has created over eighty works for his former company and for Spectrum Dance Theater, as well as for many major modern dance repertory companies including The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Philadelphia Dance Company (Philadanco), Cleo Parker Robinson, and Dallas Black Dance Theater; and for classical companies including Pacific Northwest Ballet, Concordanse (Paris), MaggioDanza diFirenze, and Oregon Ballet Theater, to name a few. He is probably best know for his reworking of the Christmas classic, The Nutcracker, into The Harlem Nutcracker, which received critical acclaim and toured nationally for 5 years.
 
Laura Penn, Executive Director, began her tenure at Stage Directors & Choreographers Society (SDC) in 2008. During her first year she has implemented a three-year strategic plan, initiated a branding campaign and launched a year-long celebration of SDC’s 50th anniversary. While keeping a keen eye on the challenges currently facing the industry, Laura has begun to forge partnerships with key industry constituents, focusing on improving the Union’s communications capabilities.

Before joining SDC, Laura was the Managing Director of Seattle’s Intiman Theatre for fourteen years. Under her leadership Intiman received the 2006 Regional Theatre Tony Award. She has served as an advocate and catalyst for civic dialogue and community building in the Puget Sound, and she received the “Seattle Distinguished Citizen” Medal from Mayor Paul Schell in 2001. Prior to Intiman, Laura worked at Seattle Rep and Arena Stage.

French-Hungarian Markus Klinko was born in Switzerland, studied harp at the Paris National Conservatory, and had an illustrious career as one of the world’s top classical harp soloists. In 1994, after receiving the “Grand Prix du Disque” for his last recording with the Paris Opera Bastille Orchestra, Markus decided to follow his passion and began a career in photography. He met Indrani and they began their extraordinary relationship and collaboration. Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri was born in Calcutta, India. At 14, she began a successful career as a fashion model, traveling the world to work with great photographers and artists, while studying philosophy, meditation, photography and film, and pursuing her own photography. In 1995 Indrani founded a charitable school with her father in their ancestral home in Bengal, India, www.SEEschool.org. She graduated from Princeton University with a High Honors BA in Anthropology, after mastering post-production in Paris and New York, and developing with Markus their unique photographic style.
 
Jody has the whit of Janis Joplin, with an soulful eye like Dorothea Lange, style like Kate Hudson, spunk of a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, and grace of Dolly Parton. “I work cause I love this shit!” Jody has a BA from Brooks Institute of Photography in Commercial Advertising and AA from the Art Institute of Houston in Graphic Design with 20 years of photography/art experience.
