Reaction Dance Company NYC (RXN) was founded in 2014 by Artistic Director Juliette Nieves, a graduate of Pace University’s dance program and awardee of both research and entrepreneurship grants for the creation of RXN.
RXN’s mission is to challenge the boundaries between dance styles and change audiences’ perception of cultural dances. We fuse Bollywood, Latin, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz dance styles to represent New York City’s cultural diversity. We offer custom performances and motivational dancing for special events, choreography and dancers for music videos, lessons, and school assemblies with our program “The Globalization of Hip Hop” through Arts Horizons
Some of our most notable performances have been for Reaction Presents: The United Boroughs of NYC, Dance USA Dance 2017 on Zee TV, Kpop Cover Dance Festival 2017 ( 4th place US Finalists), music video "La Conoci Bailando" by Ozzie Valencia, Diwali Times Square 2017, assemblies for Arts Horizons and so much more.
