Richardson Comly

I\'m a University of the Arts graduate with a BFA in animation. I have been painting for about 6 years now. I mostly use acrylic paints, but i have experimented with oil and watercolors. I like to craft my own frames for each piece. i work with my step dad, who is a carpenter by hobby, in the execution of this process. Painting to me is more about the design of the page and what pulls the viewer into the piece. I try to use my experience in animation, commercial painting(my profession), and my love of detail to execute each piece. I live in Pottstown, PA with my wife, son, and two dogs. My art now has become my hobby because of my job and family, but i wish to change that as i continue to grow as an artist.
