Last Christmas my family got me a starter paint kit with some brushes, paper and little tubes of paint and decided that it was time for me to get a hobby and start painting. Finally four months later I got up one morning and said to myself, I think I'm going to paint today. A week later I was hooked. Every day I searched for new motifs to paint, simple ones at first and more difficult ones as I progressed. I toughed myself new techniques and skills by watching other artists on the internet. I used paper at first, then went on to canvas panel and finally stretched canvas. I found so much joy and fulfillment in creating new art pieces that it has become almost like an obsession. From the day I started I paint many hours every day, non stop, often more than just one piece. Two months ago I opened an online gallery on Deviant Art, e few weeks ago a store on etsy.com and on 9/26 I started streaming live painting sessions on twitch.com. I'm now up to 200 paintings and can't wait to share my work at the upcoming event.
