Visual Art – Portland
Technologically inclined and creatively inspired is how I've come to describe myself. On paper I may have the well rounded profile of a "business person" and few characteristics of an artist. I can keep up with conversations about technology and data - it's what I live and breathe during the day. But at night and on weekends, I shed that part of me and escape to a different place (more like the dining table) with my paintbrush. Even though watercolor is my current favorite medium, I love the freedom of expression through different mediums and I try to bring joy and levity with my art. I also try to defy the stereotype of an "emo artist" by balancing my creativity with my level-headedness. I have no idea if I'm successful at that though.
