If you\'ve seen a paper crane made out of an old receipt or gum wrapper left behind in a restaurant or train, I was probably there. Origami is to me both an art and a therapeutic habit that reminds me of my faraway home. In this sense, every crane or flower I fold is a memory I recall, a story I tell. Vintage and castaway items therefore appeal to me, and I launched my origami jewelry company to find a place for all things wandering and lost. My favorite materials are scrap paper, vintage crystals, sea glass, repurposed components like chains and clasps, and responsible elements like 100% recycled sterling and fine silver, sweatshop-free Japanese washi, and ethically sourced gemstones.
