Beauty – Sydney
My Name is Simone Jade Menenti. I have been hairdressing for 4 years and I am a senior stylist/colourist at é SALON, Australia. Hairdressing is the career that I have chosen for life. I love this industry. This year, I shot my first collection for 2014 Hair Expo, and was very excited to be announced as a Finalist for the 2014 Apprentice/student of the Year category. In 2013, I was chosen to be a part of the ghd Session Styling team and have worked on various shows for the last 2 years, at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney. I am also a member of the é SALON Creative Team and have assisted and presented on many hair shows including HairRaise, Global.Synergy, INDUSTRY New Zealand, Hair Expo, Wella and ghd shows. For the last 4 years, I have been attending as much training as I can get my hands on. When I completed my apprenticeship, I went back to TAFE to further my studies with Cert IV in Hairdressing. I have also completed a Mentoring program with DCI Education and various courses through L’Oréal, Wella, ghd, DCI education, Ozdare, and American Crew to name a few. Now, my goal is to continue to build upon my experience and start showing my work to the world. RAW is the perfect opportunity to do this and I am honoured to be a RAW artist.
