Visual Art – Riverside

I grew up in my hometown of Ontario in the Inland Empire. Ever since I was a young I have been doodling away and drawing any chance I could. As I began my artistic education in high school I began learning the fundamentals of line, shape, form, and etc. My teacher encouraged me to experiment with new materials other than merely pencil and pen. I began taking an interest in drawing more realistic, but still with a hint of my previous carttonish style. I started exploring different art movements and became quite intrigued by Pop Surrealism, Surrealism, Pop Art, Op Art, and others as well. Recently I have been branching out to try and network with artists such as myself and artists in other fields to participate in artistic events and endeavors. As much as I love creating artwork, I also love viewing other people\'s creations and processes. Art has become such a strong influence in my life. It is my tool for expressing myself and communicating my inner thoughts for the outside world to see. I enjoy all forms of art but drawing and painting are my most favorite. Elements of the face, eyes, people, animals, surrealism, pop art, organic shapes, low brow art, and many other things inspire my artwork and often appear in them.
