Astral Mechaniks

By profession, I was originally a movement & prop manipulation artist. I met my husband, Keile, on the set of a fire show production. It was with him that Astral Mechaniks was birthed, through which we design, perform, and create magickal visionary musings. We were craving durable, unique, fantasical, aesthetically, and ergonomically pleasing costumes & headgear that we could wear as performers, as living artists, & as a conscious, visionary statement to inspire artistic expression in the greater world. We have gained much of our inspirations and support through the local, global, & West Coast galactic tribal revival festival & Burning Man community and have provided hatitude to other performance artists, fashionistas, socialites, visionary artists, humanitarians, and costume collectors all over the world. Keile\'s expertise, is in sewing & clothing design. He specializes in custom men\'s pants & vests. Our pieces are all unique, often made with top quality or re-purposed materials & I do my best to source ethically whenever possible. I take extreme care & find much joy in hand stitching, adorning or surging each & every piece, & I believe that energy translates into the final product. Our hats, headgear, earrings, & accouterments all contain a life of their own & are very stylistically recognizable. What is our aesthetic? It is the culmination of our dynamically converging archetypes: Tribal Victorian Elfin Steam Punk Circus Goth Pirate Priestess Ninja Galactic Jedi Post-Apocalyptic Cabaret--- Servicing future-primitive, next paradigm wearable art to wear you through the (r)Evolution.
