Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Susan Phaily is a 2012 nominee for best designer in the evening/club wear category at the Boston Fashion Awards. At an early age, Susan remembers being fascinated by fashion and began sketching down ideas in a pad she still carries. It wasn’t until she planned a trip to Vegas 5 years ago with her friends, that Susan got behind the sewing machine and started creating. Her first designs were worn by her friends on that trip. Since then, Susan’s designs have appeared in national magazines, and on Rupaul’s popular reality shows Drag Race and Drag U; she herself appeared on the shows in September 2011. Susan’s designs span several genres and range from edgy club wear to sexy resort and beach attire.
