Music – San Diego

Tennessee Tina is a songwriter, performer, artist, and self-taught chandler. The Memphis native got her start writing lyrics and performing in coffee shops, warehouse parties & gay bars around the city. Working on Beale St. as a bartender, she immersed herself in the open mic circuit performing her renditions of songs from artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers to Michael Jackson and of course crowd favorite “The King” Elvis Presley, whom birthday she shares. Later Tennessee Tina moved to San Diego where she co-created Tribe of Two Enterprise Ltd. There she began concocting her own brew of sounds, stories, and fragrances that speak to the hearts and souls of music lovers. She has performed at the House of Blues, Java Joe's (Jewel & Jason Mraz) and The Women's Museum of California. Today with a pocket full of songs, Tennessee Tina delivers raw & emotive tales that are true testimony to the tussle of a southern singer/songwriter learning to live, love, lose, and forgive. Tennessee Tina has succinctly captured the new sound of americana!
