A few adjectives that don't quite make up the perfect description of Jason "JDUB" Williams artwork. Yet, it's doubtful there is a word in the English language that could accurately portray the "soul boners" (as he calls them) that are his pieces. From the first captivating glance to diving into the deep depths of his concepts…it's obvious to anybody who come across his work..it's simply different. And thats what makes all the difference.
Born a resident of the United Kingdom, then abruptly uprooted and moved to the states, JDUB was exposed to more than most by his teenage years. Thats when his love for drawing cartoons on his homework and doodles in his school books turned into the fire like passion that has consumed him ever since. It's that passion that pushed Williams to want to show the world what he had to offer, not just his frustrated teachers.
With a resume ranging from graphic design for some of the nations biggest Hip-Hop acts, to full length cartoons, to curating characters on canvases with immensely abstract backgrounds, to commissioned realism pieces…their is no border or boundary to how far his talents go. The colorful, stimulating, and nostalgic works of Dub are not aimed towards any specific demographic, but specifically made for all demographics. Simply put, his art is for everyone. With a hunger for greatness and a passion for creating, who knows what the next step is for the young entrepreneur.
