The John Trumaine Show

Music – Pittsburgh

Welcome to the show. Mixing Psychedelic, Indie, Rock, and Jazz, The John Trumaine Show pushes creativity in its music and its visuals. The artists behind this band, Greg King, Joshua Challen, and John Lora, have drawn influence from many classic psychedelic acts along with incorporating modern technology to hurl you into space. With Greg and John swapping between guitar, bass, and synthesizer, a wealthy amount of variety is incorporated into the set. This three-piece occasionally pulls in other artists from the community to enhance the Show. Early performances consisting of solely improvisation have molded the group into a tight act that brings the party atmosphere to the stage. Grooves of mind numbing melody and chugging rhythm have been known to get the toes tapping on even the most reluctant audience member. An important part of The John Trumaine Show is visual stimulation. From video projection to full installation art, The John Trumaine Show’s stage is meant for any medium of artistic expression. Debut album GeoFever will be released Summer of 2015.
