WWW.THESENATEMUSIC.COM This band is five real, dedicated, hungry musicians and we operate that way. We are self contained top to bottom. Based out of a not so small studio in Holbrook, NY, the better part of us live together in a small one bedroom basement apartment that\'s a 5 minute drive from Get Open, the recording studio conceptualized and founded by our vocalist long before he knew us and long before he was a singer. We eat sleep and breathe our craft. We work just enough to survive and spend every other second writing, recording, mixing, rehearsing and living with each other. We want you to write about us because we have a message that needs to be delivered. Culture is dying because the human aspects of entertainment and artistry are no longer valued, and we feel the responsibility to help change the focus. Our style is very different in ways, and familiar in others and stands as a direct metaphor for how music is supposed to be birthed. Right now mass media focuses on riding the next trend and sucking it dry until the next comes along. It leaves no space for growth, for ideas to wander off and spawn something completely new. Its sad that music, or anything for that matter, should be a formula. There stands a time for a change in our culture both in diversity and content and we feel we represent a positive end of the spectrum for both. We hate the situation that we, the people of this generation find ourselves in after years of valuing the wrong things, and we\'re here to say that we can still fix it, but we have to act now. In all honestly, we just want a platform to speak out on, because we know that people want to hear it said, and our music is a universal, boundary defying vehicle for it to get to their ears.
