‘Tundra’ is a four-piece, Alternative-Pop band from Brisbane, Australia. Their upbeat songs are instantly appealing and are guaranteed to leave audience members humming well after their gigs. It’s a rare thing for a band to blend dynamic, mass-pleasing pop music with an artful and structurally complex element as well, yet that’s exactly what this progressive act manages to do. Tundra is the product of years of musical and performance experimentation and experience; three of the band members, Rohan Kindt, Robert Lee and Tom Beh, played together in the successful high-school band “Grape Soda” before taking on a new member, Joel Clish. A new image and a new name have seen them skyrocket to a new plane of musical prowess and sex appeal. Their debut single “Commotion” has met with a colossal response from fans and secured them a consistently high place on the Triple J Unearthed Charts.
