Urban Castro (UC) is an American artist. He awoke in the Wilderness of the American Midwest in 2007 and is currently based out of Dallas, TX. "A lot of folks like to paint scenes that come from a place of fantasy. I try to use reality as my primary inspiration. Whereas some artists may chose to paint a beautiful landscape of a barn in the country, I am more interested in painting what is going on inside the barn." Inspired by thoughts and emotions that are truly universal but the human condition has programmed society to reject and repress, UC provides these topics the spotlight with his utilization of bold colors and vivid imagery. With a rebelious spirit, UC looks to infiltrate the art world with a grass roots uprising. Viva la revolucion.
