Visual Art – Northern Rivers

I started expressing myself artistically since I can remember, for example when in elementary school my teacher let me draw even at times of different lectures, or when my parents took me to the first art exhibit at the age of five – Botero - and I drew what I saw the whole time. My drawing and painting techniques grew with my attendance to art school A. Passaglia, in Italy - my country of origin, - along with geometry, architecture, and design. After high school I moved to Los Angeles, where I attended University of Southern California studying art making and cinema/television up to 2010, when I graduated college. Throughout my first twenty years of life I explored still art, mostly drawing; the following ten years or so, my passion welcomed film-making, which beautifully helped me add a told narrative to moving pictures. Recently, however, I started working and showing different series of drawings: COFFEE STAINS – made with stains of coffee (and now also red Australian soil and beet juice) and toothpicks; VISIONS – drawing inspired by visions experienced in meditation and different states of consciousness; PORTRAITS – inspired by some of the people who abundantly helped shaping myself into the human being and artist that I am today. Currently I live in Australia, where I arrived for the first time two months ago with my life long friend and collaborator Susi Tesco. I continue expressing myself artistically like I have since I can remember.
