Fashion – Boston
VisAvia is a Bangkok-based fashion house started by Faye Nightingale and Chanica Pitaksakorn in 2012. Our mission is to create clothing not only to flaunt the wearer but the art of the piece itself.
Our brand concept is combining fashion, art, and travels. Faye Nightingale started off as a painter then developed a career as a freelance local photographer in Boston, MA. Chanica Pitaksakorn has a background in fashion design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco,CA and is a (very!) frequent flyer; both were born in Bangkok, Thailand. The two came together with an idea for an innovative fashion line, combining both their hobbies and passions together into one project.
The photographs used for our prints range from original still images to film stills of different cities around the world, our design elements are inspired by the different scenery and cultures of the places we visit. The name VisAvia- derives from an integration of the words vision and aviation.
