Lindsay and Edu met in 2010 in
the Andean city of Ayacucho,
Peru while Lindsay was living
there and interning at a
microcredit organization. While
she knew that moving to
another country would be the
journey of a lifetime, she never
could have predicted falling in
love. However, shortly after
arriving, she met an
intriguing jeweler with a
passion for travel just like
her. A wood-worker by trade,
Edu had always been artistic
and took up jewelry making in 2006 as a way to pay for his university degree in veterinary
medicine. Like many artisans in Peru, he sold his jewelry in the streets until he was able to get a
small store in the artisan market of Ayacucho. Today, Lindsay and Edu offer you their art:
handmade jewelry made from recycled copper, alpaca wire (German silver), and bronze with
semi-precious stones, seeds and other natural materials.
