Within The Rabbit Hole

I was born and raised in Kenosha, WI. While playing a small part in a large family, it was always my dream to be an artist. I\'m happily married and have four adult children that I love. My greatest challenge by far was caring for and homeschooling my beautiful daughter who happened to be born with a congenital birth defect known as Sturge-Weber Syndrome. After her difficult comeback from major brain surgery, I\'m thankful that I can still care for her today. This led me to all kinds of art for healing. I\'m self-taught with a wide range of interest from knitting, photography, doll making and painting. It also brought me to deep faith for solace. I’ve worked as a hospice chaplain and as an assistant chaplain in both the jail and hospital. Curently I teach art to children part-time. My passion for art comes from its healing abilities. I strongly believe that everyone is capable of creating art, and in that process an inner wound begins to heal.
