Samantha Listorti and Tara Smith

Samantha and Tara have been making art together their entire lives. Studying first at Pratt Institute of Technology and both earning their BFA from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts. Throughout their youth both twins were continuously chosen for special scholarship training, projects. They began professional training in after school programs that would prepare the two for life of serious, expressive art-making. Samantha’s solo work has been featured in Studio Visit Magazine, Two Coats of Paint, and The New London Day. After graduating, Tara assisted world renowned artist Jeff Koons in his New York studio. She had a front page article in the Gold Coast Gazette and was featured in the Long Island Newsday and twice in The New London The Day. Currently Tara has returned to Connecticut, and is working with Samantha on new collaborative large-scale oil paintings in their Old Saybrook studio.
